Jul 18, 2013 · Codes P0455 and P0449. My engine check light came on in my 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV, so I went to the auto parts store to get the codes read. It pushed out P0455 and P0449. I did some research and ended up changing my gas cap, and both evap canister purge and vent solenoid valves. Problem still exists. P0445 is a common OBD II trouble code. It's generic, which means that it has the same meaning for the Cadillac SRX as it would for any other vehicle.
