It's a great base. Long term base typically you want water/gas or both nearby/in base. There's a lot of spots, so it helps to be picky. Security/Space isn't an issue, plenty of both on the 2nd floor. I'm not certain but I think it means pink for medical, yellow for food, and orange for homes. Storage places are black and churches are blue.

Well, technically speaking Rosewood has the lowest zombie population (aside from Rosewood penitentiary ofc) out of all four starting points. Both Muldraugh and West Point are considerably worse and only Riverside is kinda in between. Thing is, all urban areas in Zomboid have high zeds population understandably.
