All you need for the money trick is a Persona with Pulinpa + Confuse Boost or Tentarafoo since SP Adhesive 3 makes it so that you can use Tentarafoo every 3rd turn with SP fully regenerated, effectively making it an infinite farm if you so choose.

It is, but you have a lot of Persona slots. Discounting stuff for links, it's not hard to free up a slot for Heat up for SP recovery until the better stuff comes around. By the endgame, when skill slots become absolutely vital, you'll likely have access to enough curry for it to be a non-issue, via Temp + Hiero 10. I can't speak for everyone.
