The Defender is slightly bigger, but not enough to really matter. The window size favors the Defender, but the 407K is lighter. Both optics use a dual-button configuration. Both are auto brightness and shake awake to save battery. The 407k is half the size and 6moa. The width also measures in at 0.9 inches, and the height measures in at 1.7 inches….IMO Trijicon kinda screwed up by not making the RMRcc footprint universal with other optics. If your 43x is a MOS you'd have either get a thick/ugly adaptor plate which is twice as much as the Holosun plate or get it milled.
