Turns out this is something called the "fuel evaporation leakage checking system". It was just odd hearing this sound 5 1/2 hours after I last turned the car off! It was coming from the passenger rear but didn't sound like suspension. I removed the spare tire accessories under the trunk cover and it resolved the problem. Now at 380 miles and the squeaking noise is almost gone over the same bumps. I did remove spare tire/tools right after my initial post but it did not help.
