Crews that increase your protected cargo are best for mining with the NS. Stack health on your lower deck. Ex. Grush, Dupont, TPring. NS is the fastest G3 miner. Cargo sucks, but you are going to move your G3 mats fast. It’s also an excellent base cracker for early levels because of its health.
Really depends on what u are going for speed, protect cargo, max cargo. I have 3 faction miners and to ensure max pc and warp 55+ I use the following crews. 3 of 11 (officer) Dupont grush (cap) 1 of 11. Tpring Joaquin cadet scotty. You can always swap out or add officer like 10 of 11 or quark to increase minning speed. One Envoy is max level, the other almost. Tier 7 level 30. I only mine with these two ships. In other words, I don't go out killing or raiding with these ships. The Tiers I have had to increase on my own. Occasionally I would add a level but mining with the ships caused them to level on their own.
