Even if it doesn't show up as possible rewards, it does still drop exotics (shitty rng of course). I think you need yo be above 1800 for the Legend LS to show. Bringing more consistency to farming for exotics is the most brain dead solution I can think of. People will be much less frustrated if they know that it will take no more than like 7 runs to get an exotic to drop. Really felt there were more drops in the past, and I am relived the know that I'm not the only one. But after 66 runs and 2 drops/ 3% drop rate, I just gave up.

I was running legend lost sectors today (not master) and while the average exotic drop rate is lower (~25%) I was getting cores left and right as well. If you do today's lost sector solo on Legend or Master, there's high chances (not 100%) of dropping an exotic armor piece upon completion. If you can't solo a lost sector, look for Vex Incursion events at Neomuna, which will 100% award an Exotic armor piece upon successful completion.
