If it takes you 3 minutes to do legend and 8 to do master then master is not worth it. If it takes 4 minutes to do legend and 4:20 to do master then master is better. Master lost sectors do have a higher drop rate, but because legend can be run much faster it works out to be faster to farm legend instead of master.Heck, I have received only Glimmer 9 times. For those that don't know, you can farm Kalli in less than 2 minutes per run .( Usually about 1:30). And she can drop red borders of EVERY Last Wish Raid weapon. (Except for 1k Voices). I've seen that the Legend lost sector has a 25% drop chance (lol okay sure) and Master only has 33% (literally no point in doing master other than for triumphs). That means there is 25-33% chance to get ONE exotic armor drop.

Master lost sectors should drop mats or something but legend lost sectors are probably fine. A few of them like veles or aphelion can be done in like 2 mins. But on legend it can take easily 10-20 clears to get a drop.
