Stanford has more early EMG exposure than most programs, and every resident has plenty of experience at the end of their PGY 2 year, and way over 300 by the end of their PGY 4 year. Stanford MSTP is similar to HMS/MIT in that the majority of the slots are institutionally funded, not funded by the NIH.
