After three trips to the dealer and replacing the tank, heater, injector GM finally fixed the DEF system. On my last trip pulling about 12K 5er and ATV behind the trailer.

There is information about this code for the 3.0 Duramax, but not yours. Often times this isn't related to the EGR but instead the MAF sensor (mass air flow). Also, a restriction in the air inlet tubes can be an issue as well. Remove the MAF sensor (see pic 1 below) and inspect it for dirt.

Do a manual regeneration clean it up. Then it has to pass a DEF fluid quality test. If you can keep driving it, the ECM will run the tests and either clear the message or turn the light back on.
