On the 2500’s and above with the upfitter option built into it there are several modules and associated wiring as well as the switches. Didn’t really look feasible to add just the switch package. 1. 2.
Upfitter switches 1 thru 4 are connected into the cab under the dash. Switch 5 powers the 12 gauge wire to the rear of the truck frame. I've read about a bag of wires that may be found under the back seat to wire under the hood for lights and accessories, but the only thing this new truck cane with was a winter front cover for the grill.You don't have remotely enough current capacity to use it to run power tools. My guess is Ram has these limited to 3 - 3.5 amps of current draw, Ohms law: 400 watts at 115V is 3.47 amps. Typical power tools pull anywhere from 8 to 15 amps. Your typical household outlet is a 120 Volt 15 amp circuit.

Get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the rubber plug out of the specific plug you wanna use. So my thought now is that main power is wired to the battery, drl wire to fuse tap, and +/- for main beam from light bar to a switch. DRL should be on always and hit the switch DRL goes off, main beam on.
