If you can deal with the cons of Drexel, the proximity to your support system and style of pre-clinical education may help you have the smoothest transition to medical school which is something to consider. EVMS does not have a gym itself, but you do get free membership to the local YMCA, which is very close to campus. I want to stress that this is no ordinary YMCA, I am in DC right now and have been looking at gyms in this area (washington sports club, ballys, and GW's gym) the YMCA in norfolk is substantially better than all of these gyms.
