Put the fan onto the new motor shaft, keeping the flat spot on the motor shaft in line with the Allen set screw on the squirrel cage. Tighten the Allen screws up securing the motor inside the squirrel cage. Put the motor and fan back into the AC unit. Replace and tighten the screws holding the fan motor in place.
