Station 12 is right beside Fort Moultrie. Parking is free and is a very short walk to a beach that STRICTLY forbids swimming ($1040 fine even for wading). The beach had no shells when we were there. It was at the southern-most point in Sullivans and basically faces the harbor and not the ocean waters so waves are tiny.
