I am wondering to either use Vyke's Spear for a madness build or Eleonora's Poleblade because both of them look fun. I am leaning more towards the poleblade because of bleed procs being super good in PvP and PvE but I wonder how good it is against the average player in the 100+ bracket and how good it is in PvE compared to other blood builds. Just beat Malenia while dual-wielding Eleonora's Poleblade+9 and Blood Godskin Peeler +25 and with a mimic tear summon. Was I cheesy/"noob" or lame for summoning Mimic? Sure. Kind of fucks Dex/Arcane builds. Funnily enough, even with broken scaling that sword got my through the hardest fight in the game. Was worth much if things couldn't bleed though. I just thought of a great one. Get your vigor to 60, put a few points into endurance and then stack your damage stats until you reach your desired level. Now, upgrade your poleblade and equip it (in your right hand). It should be very viable!

That is why you see it less, you burn your enemies to death before they bleed out. you can add bleed affinity to the peeler and not worrying about the rest. Eleonora's Poleblade has multiple unique attacks, innate bleed, lower weight, etc. Perhaps they are correct that the peeler is overall better, but. The poleblade still has unique qualities of its own that you might prefer, and might be particularly effective against certain enemies.
