Personally I prefer nsp as I find it easier, I have an sxos licence but still just use nsp. I install all my nsp through goldleaf on my computer and it takes just as much time to install an nsp as it does to copy an xci game over. With xci you have to mount and unmount each game instead of just closing and opening a new game.
