Plz don't bubba the poor SKS, I don't even think the conversions kits had the mag fed version in mind (I had that exact one in the pic in OD green, it sucks and isn't worth the money, I ended up going back to the original wood, and those polymer mags are rather picky with ammo)

Mar 23, 2023 · Salvaging bubba's SKS I bought an all matching Chinese SKS (factory 316) for a very good price, however the previous owner ground off the bayonet lug, which would normally be a deal breaker for me, however I felt adventurous at the time.

Other than that, enjoy the rifle. Around here 7.62 is widely available. 9mm, .40, .380, 5.56 and .223 are near impossible to get so as soon as the weather breaks, im taking mine out to the range.
