Just bought new Traverse love it except for the auto stop, it's rediculous the engine shutting off every time you stop ,, my 2019 does not have an auto stop override switch. I was not told about this when I bought the car, test drive was on a highway not any stop and start driving.

No issues since though. In my opinion this is a design defect in the shift mechanism. I had the same problem. Cost me $470 to fix. I have filed a complaint with the safety board.
