Probably need to raise the rockshaft all the way to take the weight off of the lock. I believe that most of these height knobs/locks will not move when the weight of the mower deck is resting on them. Just make sure its lifted all the way, then try to move your knob. Dec 9, 2020 · If it is lose or floppy, most likely it is not turning the shaft that puts the PTO in gear. There should be a pin or bolt that goes through the linkage and shaft. The two are linked 3ph isnt moving aswell as mower deck. Ive tried adjusting the hydraulic control lever that should help for releasing and allowing smooth down transitions and it will turn and lock both ways and doesnt appear to have any issues.
